Why Is My Display or GUI Not Showing Correctly in WorldViewer or EZ3?

    Quickly reset misplaced, hidden, or improperly displayed EZ3 windows and restore fullscreen operation.

    When a display appears blank, partially off-screen, stuck behind another window, or the GUI is displaying incorrectly, the issue is often related to the EZ3 window state or monitor assignment. Follow the steps below to identify and correct the display window.


    Checking Window States

    WorldViewer Window

    Hover over the WorldViewer icon in the Windows taskbar to preview the current WorldViewer window state.

    EZ3 Display Windows

    Hover over the EZ3 icon in the Windows taskbar to view all active EZ3 display windows and identify which display may not be configured correctly.


    EZ3 Window Controls

    Fullscreen Mode

    Use the fullscreen toggle icons to switch between fullscreen and windowed modes.

    • Fullscreen Mode: Removes the taskbar and fills the display
      • Icons: and toggle between fullscreen and windowed modes.
    • Windowed Mode: Displays the taskbar and window borders

    Keyboard Shortcut:
    CTRL + ENTER


    Always on Top

    Use the “Always on Top” toggle to force the EZ3 window to remain above all other applications.

      • Icons: and toggle the "always on top" feature.

    Keyboard Shortcut:
    CTRL + ALT + ENTER


    Reset to Primary Monitor

    Use the reset function to move the EZ3 window back to the primary monitor and remove fullscreen status.

    This is especially useful if the display window has moved to the wrong monitor or become inaccessible.

    Troubleshooting Steps

    Issue

    The image, projection output, or GUI is not displaying properly.

    Resolution

    1. Hover over the EZ3 icon in the Windows taskbar to view all active EZ3 display windows.
    2. Identify the display window that appears incorrect.
    3. Click that EZ3 window to make it active.
    4. Press:

    CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER

    This resets the window back to the primary monitor and exits fullscreen mode.

    1. Drag the window to the correct display monitor.
    2. Return the display to fullscreen mode using either method below:
      • Press:

    CTRL + ENTER

    • Or hover over the EZ3 taskbar icon and click the fullscreen icon for that display window.

    Additional Tip

    If the EZ3 display disappears behind other applications, enable the Always on Top option to keep the display window visible above all other windows.
